Budo Quest Martial Arts is the North America Headquarters for the International Okinawa Goju-Ryu Kenshikai Karate-jutsu Kobu-jutsu Association which was founded by Hokama Tetsuhiro Hanshi in 1976.

In 2009 Sensei Morales was appointed Chief instructor For North America by Hokama Sensei.

He has grown the organization throughout the State and Canada. Kenshi-Kai North America is a community of Karate practitioners who embrace the full spectrum of Karate.
Joining Kenshi Kai is the pathway to expanding your understanding outside of just kick and punch Karate.

The mission of North America Kenshi-kai is to provide leadership, guidance, and fellowship in the study and further development of Old Style Goju-Ryu Karate; to provide a pathway to the Ancient culture and methods of Okinawan martial arts; to deepen the understanding of this historically unique martial arts form; to preserve the History and Ancient teachings of Great Okinawan Masters and to cultivate the moral values and character building that are an inherent part of Kenshi-kai Goju-Ryu for the betterment of humanity.

Through high-quality martial arts instruction, we empower people of all ages to achieve their full potential. By emphasizing self-protection, health, fitness, and life skills in a friendly, safe, positive environment, we inspire our students to become more confident, successful contributing members of our community.

To promote and preserve Classical Koryu (ancient style) Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate as taught by the International Kenshi-kai Organization under the leadership of Hokama Tetsuhiro Hanshi of Uehara Nishihara Okinawa.
